This course discusses the accounting for agricultural and aquaculture industries. The important coverage includes application of related standards, guideline and acts and their effects on the financial statements. Emphasis will also be given to accounting issues related to the specified industries. Among the topics covered includes: accounting for agriculture- animals, accounting for agriculture-plantations, and accounting for aquaculture. Issues such as sustainability and accounting for social and environmental impacts of these industries will also be covered. Finally, the course provides analysis on the importance of financial statement to the users.
This course is a basic introduction to sailing activities which include the principles of good seamanship and safe boating. Students are required to practically rig and de-rig their sailboats by using some of the most useful nautical knots. Toward the end of this course student will be able to sail a dinghy in light to moderate wind conditions and pass a basic test including Tack, Gybe, Running. This course will also espose the students with a new approach of problem solving, team works and decision making.

In addition, the practice will include exposure to repositories and ways of conducting scientific and ethical taxonomic research, which will include specimen preservation and fixation, data and specimen management and conservation, and students having to design and create their own exhibition.
